Tripoli, 26 September 2013:
Libya Al Ahrar, the Qatar-based TV station, has apologised for indicating that one of its Tripoli . . .[restrict]reporters, Abudlwahab Mlitan, might have been kidnapped. It had been a misinterpretation of events, it has said on its website.
He was fine, Huda El Serari, General Manager of Libya al Ahrar, told the Libya Herald.
Colleagues had earlier feared he might have been abducted yesterday evening, when he apparently disappeared and his mobile phone was switched off. They made intensive contacts with security sources and posted their concerns on the website. [/restrict]
