Prime Minister Ali Zeidan denied that there were foreign troops crossing Libya’s borders and within its . . .[restrict]territory.
Speaking at Sunday’s press conference, Zeidan said that there was “no truth” in this allegation. He added that he was in contact with Niger and that he was recently in Algeria where he discussed these issues. “There is no threat to the sovereignty of Libya”, stressed the Prime Minister.
Zeidan said that on Saturday a rumour surfaced that there were 1,500 vehicles heading to Brega and the south and that the air force were scrambled to sweep all the area and there was no truth in the reports. [/restrict]
