Tripoli, 29 January 2013:
A national seven-aside rugby tournament is to start on Friday. The announcement was made by the governing Libyan Rugby . . .[restrict]Technical Committee.
Clubs participating in the tournament are Tahadi, Benghazi Aljadida, Ahli Benghazi, Terasana, Ahli Tripoli and Shabab.
The first matches will be held in Tripoli and Benghazi. Round two will be held on 8 February, round three on 8 March. The national finals will be in April.
Rugby in still a minority sport in Libya but is growing in popularity. There are now at least nine clubs across the country. [/restrict]
