Minister of the Interior Ashour Shuwail held an extended meeting with the director of the Passsport, Nationality and Foreigners’ . . .[restrict]Affairs Authority in Tripoli today, Libyan news agency LANA reported.
Shuwail met the director and the heads of various departments within the authority to discuss the possibility of producing electronic passports, the possibility of issuing visas for Libya at airports and the issuing of a “national number” to citizens.
He is also reported to have discussed the issue of obtaining Libyan citizenship and passports with the directors at the meeting in Tripoli today. [/restrict]
