The Libyan Central Bank has extended the deadline for accepting the old, large-size, five and ten dinar notes. . . .[restrict]The bank notes, starting with the numbers 4 or 5, were to have been handed into the Central Bank by the end of 2012. Those holding them now have until Thursday, 28 February 2013.
The old notes will be accepted at the main Libyan Central Bank and all its branches and affiliated departments in Tripoli, Benghazi, Sebha, Sirte, Beida, Gharyan, and Misrata. [/restrict]
