Tripoli, 20 June
The final preparations are being made at the Tripoli International Fair aground for the Libya International Building – Construction, Municipality . . .[restrict]Equipment & Home Textile Exhibition, which runs from next Wednesday, 27 June for four days.
This is the first time this exhibition has been held. The organisers say that there there are already over 250 exhibitors booked and it is expected that the show, which combines a furniture exhibition, will draw more than 60,000 visitors.
The organisers point out that not only is Libya now one of the major world construction markets but that Libya is also seen as a gateway to other African states. Key decision-making visitors are expected from a significant number of African countries.
The four-day show will also include an international conference and business forum that will focus on the opportunities in building and construction, not simply for overseas firms but also Libyan companies, working on their own or in partnership with foreign constructors.
