Tripoli, March 30: The urge to set up road checkpoints appears to have gone deep into the Libyan psyche.
It is reported . . .[restrict]that a group of Libyan fighters being treated in Amman for injuries set up a checkpoint in the Jordanian capital today. The event was, apparently, intended as a joke.
The bemused police did not arrest the men who were persuaded to give up their antics. They were said to be drunk at the time. [/restrict]
