The Free Media Center in Tripoli is holding a “Kids Art Festival” on 16 March, 2012, from 9 am to 9 . . .[restrict]pm at the Furuseya Park on the seafront at Triq Al-Shat.

It is inviting people to come along to enjoy the day with friends and family. Individuals and organisations can also rent booths and put up adverts there as

The FMC says the festival “aims to provide all children an opportunity to learn through educational and recreational activities, and a chance for them to express their artistic talents and creativity”.

The fun includes slides, swings, a trampoline, a treasure hunt, painting, face painting, crafts and t-shirt painting as well as races and horse riding. There will be refreshments plus music from the stage with a DJ.

The festival aims to include children from marginalized social groups such as children with disabilities and children from minority communities. The objective is to foster confidence building between future generations.
