An armed group has attacked the home in Zawia of the . . .[restrict]First Deputy President of the House of Representatives (HoR), Imhemed Shoaib, and set fire to it. The incident happened yesterday. The same house was attacked by an RPG in November.
The “National Movement to Stop Bleeding Libyan Blood”, located in Zawia, has condemned the attack, denouncing the “criminals” who carried it out.
Zawia, it claimed, had been taken hostage by criminal militias who hade seized the town’s governmental and strategic facilities, including the town’s radio station.
Mohamed Shuaib is regarded as having impeccable revelatory credentials. A lawyer, he was imprisoned by Qaddafi for 15 years. He took a prominent role during the revolution. [/restrict]
