Three hundred fighters wounded in the revolution are being sent for treatment and rehabilitation to Belarus.
The . . .[restrict]Belarussian ambassador Anatoly Stibus told the Libya Herald today that the majority of the fighters was from Misrata. Since the start of the revolution, some 1,500 wounded from all over Libya have gone to Belarus for medical care.
Stibus said that there were also medical teams from his country working in Ghadames and the surrounding area and it was planned to increase their number. He added that a delegation from Libya’s Ministry of Health was due to visit Belarus soon, to look into ways of boosting medical links between the two countries. [/restrict]
