Tripoli, 12 March 2015:
Zintan has conceded the loss of the camp at Um Shawisha south of Ajilat which Libya . . .[restrict]Dawn announced it captured yesterday.
However, a Zintani official claimed that LNA forces had pulled out of Um Shawisha before the Libya Dawn forces moved in, and did so to consolidate its forces at Wattiya airbase.
The official did not explain why the LNA would need to do this if the base were already adequately protected.
There were claims today from Libya Dawn media that its forces were closing in on Wattiya, and that they had shot down a helicopter taking off from the base.
