A Libyan government delegation led by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Security Affairs, . . .[restrict]Almahdi Hassan Muftah Allabad, is in the UAE for talks with officials there about Emirati support to help Libya in its current situation.
Allabad had talks today in Abu Dhabi with with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Also at the meeting were the UAE Central Bank Governor, Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the UAE’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Mohammed Hammad Al Shamsi.
The UAE has been a strong supporter of the HoR as Libya’s sole legitimate authority and of the Thinni government appointed by it. [/restrict]
