Benghazi, 28 July 2013:
Reports are coming in that there were two explosions this evening in Benghazi, in what appears to have . . .[restrict]been a coordinated attack.
“There were two explosions, about five seconds apart,” one Benghazi resident who lives in the centre of the city told the Libya Herald, “they were very loud and made my house shake.”
One of the attacks took place outside a Benghazi courthouse and the second explosion, he said, occurred between the Benghazi branch of the Ministry of Justice and the 7 October Hospital.
Spokesman for the Benghazi Joint Security Room, Mohamed Hejazi, denied that there had been a second explosion in the city. [/restrict]
