By Sami Zaptia.

Tripoli, 27 July 2013:

The Tenders Committee of the Roads and Bridges Authority has announced that it has awarded 48 projects to local companies, reports WAL.

The Media Advisor to the Ministry of Communications and Transport, Adel Mahjoub, said that the companies would start work soon, without giving any further details. He further added that the projects included maintenance, preparation, cleaning and painting.

Libya Herald has been able to obtain an official list (in Arabic) of the Libyan winning companies, which includes a very short description of the projects and their locations. However, the values of the contracts were not disclosed.
