Libya’s Airports Authority announced today that it had received a delegation from the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority last Sunday (1 February) at Labraq Airport.
Labraq Airport is located about 232 km east of Benghazi and its Benina Airport. Benina Airport is the eastern region’s main airport.
This, it explained, comes as part of a programme of visits aimed at reviewing security and operational procedures and enhancing cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the field of aviation security and safety.
The delegation held a meeting with the Airport Director, security agency directors, and several department and office managers at the airport. During the meeting, the airport’s readiness and available resources were reviewed.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured the airport facilities, observing the established procedures and the progress of ongoing development projects aimed at improving services and facilitating air traffic.
