Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdel Sadig, met US Chargé d’affaires, Jeremy Berndt, at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters last Wednesday (27 August).
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation to support oil and gas production and develop the sector’s infrastructure, contributing to its stability and achieving sustainable growth.
Diversification and obtaining added value
The development of manufacturing industries to diversify sources of national income and maximize the added value of Libya’s oil resources was also discussed.
Education, training, technology transfer and the Libyan Energy Forum
The meeting also addressed investment in education, training, and technology transfer to build the capacity of Libyan cadres, in addition to preparing for the Libyan Energy Forum, which will serve as a strategic platform to strengthen partnerships and expand future cooperation.
