Sirte and BACB to improve cooperation

‎The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman Masoud, congratulated Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company on its success in completing the drilling and inspection of the C357H-6 horizontal well in the Zilten field, and achieving excellent production results of 1,985 barrels per day of clean oil, free of water.‎

‎The Chairman also praised the outstanding performance of the company’s drilling and petroleum engineering management team, which ably supervised all stages of implementation, stressing his full support for all national ‎‎efforts aimed at developing production processes and enhancing reliance on local resources and expertise. ‎

‎Without high-cost guided drilling techniques
For the first time, the technical team succeeded in dispensing with some advanced and high-cost guided drilling techniques, building on accumulated experience and previous successes in drilling horizontal wells.‎

‎Using national cadres
This achievement reflects the efficiency of national cadres and their ability to achieve advanced results by relying on experience, careful planning and efficient use of resources, without compromising the quality of performance, which contributes to raising operational performance, reducing costs, and enhancing the company’s position within the oil and gas sector.‎
