Libya and Italy discuss establishment of the Libyan Italian Vocational Training Centre in Zuwara

Libya and Italy discussed the establishment of the Libyan Italian Vocational Training Centre in Zuwara.

The news was revealed during general discussions on enhancing cooperation in vocational training during a meeting yesterday between the Tripoli based Libyan Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, and the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini.

Ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of vocational training, qualifying national cadres, and creating job opportunities in partnership with Italian companies operating in Libya, were also discussed. ‎

‎During the meeting, the two parties discussed the establishment of the Libyan Italian Centre for Vocational Training in the city of Zuwara, to qualify graduates according to international accreditation standards, and to benefit from Italian experience in implementing skills programmes that enhance employment in the oil and gas sectors. ‎
