Libya’s General Union of Chambers of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITR) to raise the competencies of the private sector and support entrepreneurship.
The MoU was signed by the President of the General Union of Chambers, Mohamed Al-Raied, at the Chambers’ Tripoli headquarters and the Chief Officer in the Peace Division of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), Frank Borchers.
The General Union of Chambers said the memorandum aims to train cadres in the private sector, especially youth and women, to empower them, create job opportunities, and prepare them for entrepreneurship.
