Libyan Banking Union holds forum on application of international standards in Istanbul

The Libyan Banking Union held the ‘‘First Forum of Libyan Banks’’ in Istanbul on the application of international standards in the preparation of financial reports (Photo: Mohedeen Ali).

The Libyan Banking Union held the ‘‘First Forum of Libyan Banks’’ in Istanbul from 24 to 25 February. The event was attended by several Libyan banks, but by no means the majority of them.

The forum was focused on the application of international standards in the preparation of financial reports and international experiences in this context and how to apply them in Libya.
