Preparations for the second ‘‘Made in Libya’’ edition in Niamey, Niger progressing

Preparations are progressing for the second edition of the ‘‘Made in Libya’’ exhibition, which is to be held this November in Niamey, the capital of Niger.

The head of the Libya Industry Union (LIU) Ali Nuseer reported at the end of a coordination visit for the event to Niamey last week that all the necessary initial approvals were obtained from Niger, and an exact date for the event will be set in the coming days.

Nuseer said he had met in Niamey the Minister of Trade, the Economic Adviser to the President of Niger, the Director of the Presidential Office, the Chief of Protocol, the Head of the Chamber of Commerce, and the Head of Industries in the Chamber as well as a group of local businessmen.

Nuseer said the “Made in Libya” event aims to open the way for Libyan companies, local industries and national businesses a greater horizon in the international economy. It is hoped the event will create lasting commercial connections that will benefit Libya and participating countries.

It will cover industrial, economic, agricultural, transit trade, services and all economic fields at the level of the public and private sectors.
