London, 7 October 2021:

The Libyan government approved yesterday 13.6 million euros to be spent by the Health Ministry with French healthcare provider GIE Saint Marguerite.

The agreement is for the treatment of Libyan children with tumours, bone marrow transplantation and microsurgery to be conducted at Janzour Hospital. The agreement comes within the Ministry of Health’s broader policy to localize treatment in various medical specialties rather than send patients abroad.

GIE Saint Marguerite has 100-199 employees and was established in 2003. It is located in southern French port city of Toulon and has numerous hospitals and clinics based in southern France.
