The 32nd edition of the “Zeps 2026” International Fair (2-5 September) opened in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday with the participation of a large Libyan delegation headed by LISCO. LISCO was one of the main event sponsors.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Acting President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Becirovic, and the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Niksic.
The Libyan delegation consisted of 25 participants from various industrial and economic sectors, in addition to several bodies and institutions, including the General Authority for Endowments, Dar al-Ifta, as well as companies specialized in contracting and food products.
During his opening ceremony speech, the Chairman of LISCO, Mohamed Al-Fagih, welcomed the Libyan delegation, attendees, ministers, ambassadors of the participating countries, and representatives of ministries and economic institutions. He stressed the importance of continuing and developing economic and trade relations between Libya and Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing the Libyan readiness to support and expand the areas of cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
The Libyan Embassy in Sarajevo was represented by a high-level delegation headed by Ambassador Ahmed Bin Ghali in support of Libyan participation and to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
LISCO said the Libyan participation in the Zeps 2026 reflects the keenness of the Tripoli government to enhance the presence of its companies in foreign markets, and to open new horizons for the public and private sectors, in order to diversify the sources of income of the Libyan state.
