Al-Taher Hussein, Director of the General Protocol Department at the Tripoli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today a copy of the credentials of Ambassador Alexis Konstantopoulos, the newly appointed Ambassador of the European Union to Libya, in preparation for completing the procedures for his accreditation as Ambassador of the European Union to Libya.
The Director of the General Protocol Department welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him every success in the discharge of his duties, reaffirming the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s commitment to further strengthening relations of cooperation and partnership between Libya and the European Union, in a manner that serves their common interests.
For his part, Ambassador Alexis Konstantopoulos expressed his readiness to continue working to develop relations of cooperation between Libya and the European Union and to enhance coordination in various areas of common interest.
