The Libyan Business Council (LBC), at its headquarters in Tripoli, received a delegation of Omani businessmen from the Oman Chamber of Commerce, the head of the Omani Commercial Arbitration Centre, and the director of International Relations and Cooperation at the National Planning Institute last Tuesday (30 June).

The meeting, which was also attended by several Libyan business owners, focused on strengthening economic cooperation between the two sides at the private sector level.

Discussions included arranging a trade delegation visit to the Sultanate of Oman, organizing an exhibition of Libyan products in Oman, and exploring the possibility of establishing a joint Libyan-Omani Business Council to support communication between the private sectors of both countries.

The LBC said this meeting comes as a continuation of the cooperation between the LBC and the Omani side, following a previous visit organized by the LBC of a delegation of Libyan businessmen to the Sultanate of Oman, which focused on exploring investment and cooperation opportunities within industrial zones.
