Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) reported today that its Management Committee and technical departments held an extensive meeting with the task force appointed by the National Oil Corporation (NOC) to oversee cooperation with Chevron.
It said this comes as part of the strategic drive to boost oil field production capacity and enhance operational efficiency.
AGOCO reported that the meeting addressed mechanisms for strengthening technical and operational collaboration to ensure field development and leverage international expertise—efforts aimed at stabilizing and increasing national production while improving operational performance.
Attendees emphasized that this meeting is part of a series of coordination efforts designed to align the work of the NOC and AGOCO and to strengthen strategic partnerships with global companies to address future challenges in the energy sector.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Belgasem Ben Shatwan, Chairman of the AGOCO Management Committee, and Mr. Belgasem Shengeer, head of the committee appointed by the NOC.
