The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman, met with a delegation from Schlumberger (SLB) in his Tripoli headquarters today to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in training, technology transfer, and developing Libyan expertise in the oil and gas sector.
The meeting addressed:
- Activating training programmes and technical workshops
- Leveraging modern technologies in artificial intelligence, drilling operations, and production optimization
- Expanding opportunities for Libyan nationals to assume leadership positions at the regional and international levels.

Suleiman also emphasized the importance of Schlumberger playing a greater role in preparing and implementing development plans for marginal fields, which would support the NOC's efforts to increase production and enhance the sector's efficiency.
