Libya’s second largest state mobile telecoms company, Almadar Aljadid, announced today that it has reached the final stages and technical preparations for launching 5G services, becoming the first Libyan national operator to offer this service.
The company said this comes as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the telecommunications sector in Libya and its commitment to providing the latest digital solutions and services,
Almadar said this strategic step comes as a direct implementation of its management directives and in line with the national vision aimed at achieving comprehensive digital transformation, under the personal follow-up and direct supervision of the Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba.
It added that this will ensure that Libyan citizens have a world-class connectivity experience and solidify Libya’s position on the global map of modern communications.
