Almadar Aljadid was the fastest mobile operator in Libya during Q3 2022

Almadar Aljadid was the fastest mobile operator in Libya during Q3 2022 with a median download speed of 12.42 Mbps, a report published by Ookla said. Libyana mobile came second with 10.97 Mbps.

The Ookla report uses the Speedtest Global Index rankings which are based on median download speed to best reflect the speeds a user is likely to achieve in a market. The report rankis mobile and fixed broadband speeds from around the world on a monthly basis.

An analysis by the report of the performance on some of the fastest phones in Libya found that there was no statistical winner during Q3 2022.

The report examined combined performance by major mobile phone manufacturers and found that devices from Apple had the fastest median download speed in Libya during Q3 2022 at 14.22 Mbps. Samsung came third.

Misrata showed the fastest median mobile download speed among Libya’s most populous cities during Q3 2022 at 14.30 Mbps. It was followed by Tripoli, Benghazi and Al-Baida.
