AmCham Libya informed Libya Herald that it is organizing its Second AmCham Pavilion at the 2026 Libya Energy & Economic Summit (LEES) in Tripoli.

AmCham said the 2025 AmCham Pavilion was a great success with 18 U.S. companies participating, and it is currently inviting U.S. companies to participate in the 2026 edition.

The 18 U.S. companies participating in the 2025 edition was a first ever for U.S. companies at an event in Libya. The U.S. Embassy was a strong supporter of the Pavilion and visited it extensively with senior Libyan government and NOC representatives. The Embassy also provided a private briefing for the participating companies.

Anchor participants for the 2026 edition include ConocoPhillips, Halliburton, NOV, SLB and Caterpillar. 2025 participants were: Caterpillar, ConocoPhillips, Cornerstone Valve/AVSCO, Cudd Well Control, Elastec, Freedom First, GardaWorld Security, Halliburton, Helmerich & Payne, Hill International, LSPI, Nabors, NOV, Pegasus Power Solutions, RA International, SLB and Visual Technologies.

Ahmed Ghazali, AmCham Vice President told Libya Herald, “2026 will be an important year for the Libyan energy sector with significant events such as the Bidding Round. LEES is the premier energy event in Libya, attracting the highest level of participation from the Libyan energy sector, and the Pavilion is a great opportunity for AmCham’s energy members to engage with their most important Libyan stakeholders.”

Debbie Hirst, AmCham President told Libya Herald, “We were very pleased with the outcome of the Pavilion in 2025 and are optimistic that 2026 will be even better. U.S. companies are interested in being active in the Libyan energy sector, and the Pavilion is a great way for them to interact with the Libyan stakeholders and advance business discussions.”
