Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported today that Akakus Oil Operations successfully drilled and commissioned well A-46 with a production capacity of 3,750 barrels of oil per day. This, the NOC added, marks a new milestone within its planned 2025 drilling programme.
On a wider outlook, the NOC said this achievement comes as part of its strategy to increase production capacity and boost output rates, and its ongoing monitoring of well drilling operations.
This accomplishment, it continued, also reflects the efforts of the technical and engineering teams and the company’s commitment to enhancing production and achieving the highest levels of operational efficiency, thus supporting the sustainability of oil production and the achievement of the Corporation’s strategic objectives.
