The Libyan Export Development Authority (LEDA) reported last Wednesday (29 October) that its chairman, Mohamed Al-Hangari, held a meeting with the directors of departments and offices to review the imminent launch of the Unified Window System.
LEDA said the new system aims to organize export operations, register companies and execute export requests and will be connected to all LEDA branches as well as the unified window at the approved outlets.
To create real statistics and figures
LEDA said this step comes to facilitate the registration processes at its offices as well as the follow-up of export operations in cooperation with the Customs Authority, as this system will provide speed in the completion and inventory of export operations so that there are real statistics and data that can be relied on and published.
