‎The National Oil Corporation (NOC) participated on Wednesday (24 September) in the Franco-Libyan Energy Forum in Paris, which was organized by Business France, with the participation of its technical departments and the chairmen of the boards of directors of the operating companies, and in the presence of several specialized French companies.‎

‎During the forum, the NOC reviewed its strategic vision to increase production, develop renewable energy and petrochemical projects, reduce emissions, support sustainable development programmes and develop national capabilities, stressing the importance of international partnerships in technology transfer and knowledge localization within Libya.‎

‎The NOC reported that extensive technical meetings were also held between the Corporation’s departments and the operating companies on the one hand, and French companies on the other hand, to discuss cooperation opportunities and future projects in the fields of development, maintenance, technical and technological services, in order to strengthen the partnership and open investment horizons that serve the national interest.‎

‎Within the framework of strengthening joint cooperation, the NOC affirmed its keenness to continue this cooperation and open new paths with international partners, in order to contribute to the development of the Libyan oil and gas sector and support the national economy.‎
