Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported yesterday that Mellitah Oil and Gas Company was able to maintain oil wells No. A-53 and A-42 in the Wafa field, without the use of an excavator.
The NOC said the results of the tests showed an estimated production of 1,264 barrels of oil per day (bpd) for the two wells.
It says the operations come within the framework of the implementation of its broader strategic plan to increase production rates.
