Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced today that Harouge Oil Operations Company resumed production from well B-102 located in the Amal field (V-12), after completing integrated maintenance works that achieved a daily production rate of 1,500 barrels of oil.
The maintenance work included a comprehensive technical evaluation of the well, the implementation of the necessary technical analyses, and the supply and installation of an electric submersible pump, which enabled the restoration of the operational readiness of the well and the stability of production rates, after a halt of more than a year and a half.
Working to restart the stopped wells
These efforts come within the framework of the company’s implementation of the NOC’s plan to raise production, and with the direct support and follow-up of its management committee, which is working to restart the stopped wells and enhance the readiness of infrastructure.
