”Best Libya Product’’ 2024 food sector awards held

Minister of Industry meets the Committee for Localisation of Oil Materials and Equipment Industry

‎The Ministry of Industry and Minerals and the National Industry Promotion Authority (NIPA) conferred yesterday the inaugural awards for Libyan ‘‘Best Libya Product’’ for foodstuffs.

‎Participating in what is planned to become the annual ‘‘ceremony, the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Hisa, affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting national companies and encouraging them to excel, innovate and raise quality standards in a way that enhances the ability of Libyan products to compete in local and international markets.

He praised the pivotal role played by the Libyan food industry in achieving food security and strengthening the national economy.‎ He said the award is one of the most prominent awards that celebrate distinguished local industries in Libya and contribute to motivating companies to improve the quality of their products and enhance their competitiveness.‎

‎The winners based on geographical classification were:

‎This Ministry said the awards comes within the framework of efforts to enhance the status of the Libyan food industry and encourage companies to invest in the development of high-quality products in a way that contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the national product in the local and regional markets.‎
