Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported yesterday that a specialized team from its subsidiary Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas inspected the fuel pipeline supplying the Ubari power station to ensure its readiness to supply crude oil to the South Refinery from the Sharara field.

This comes, it added, in preparation for sending the smart detector early next January in cooperation with the Libyan Technology Company, which specializes in inspecting pipes.‎

‎The team also inspected the site of the South Refinery to follow up on the ongoing preparatory work, which includes the opening of a track and the construction of a 3-kilometer road to ‎‎facilitate access to the site, in addition to the construction of a residential camp and the drilling of a water well.‎
