LBC participates in the Libyan French Oil and Gas Forum in Tunis

LBC leading delegation to Miami for America’s Food and Beverage Show – 18 to 20 September

A delegation from the Libyan Businessmen’s Council (LBC) headed by Mohamed Hassan Bek, Chairman of the LBC Oil and Gas Committee, participated in the private sector Libya French Oil and Gas Forum held in Tunis yesterday. Several heads of Libyan oil companies affiliated with the LBC as well as French oil and gas companies met at the event.‎

‎At the forum, the Chairman of the LBC Oil and Gas Committee summarised the role of private sector companies operating in the Libyan oil and gas sector that provide many support services in oil fields and ports.

He touched on the importance of such forums in creating fruitful partnerships with foreign companies in order to provide support, advanced technologies and knowledge, and work to develop the oil sector in Libya.‎

‎The forum witnessed reciprocal meetings between French and Libyan companies to discuss joint cooperation and exchange of views between the two parties.‎
