Al-Sarir Oil Operations drills well B54 in Sarah field with capacity of 2,400 barrels per day ‎

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced yesterday that its Al-Sarir Oil Operations Company has completed the drilling of the new development well (B54) in the contractual area A91.

The NOC added that according to preliminary tests the well has a production capacity of 2,400 barrels per day. It is expected to reach 3,000 barrels per day after the final tests are completed and the field returns to production.‎

‎The NOC sad this is well is the first in the Sarah field since the establishment of the Sarir Company in late 2020 and the receipt of operating duties from the previous operator, and the first in the field since 2013.‎
