Libya and Shell discuss several areas of cooperation

A meeting was held between the Director of the General Department of Human Resources Development and Training and representatives of Huawei to discuss the arrangements and equipment related to the preparation of the workshop on alternative energies in the oil and gas sector, which will be held in Tripoli in mid-October.‎

‎The meeting focused on the organizational and logistical details needed to ensure the success of the workshop, including the location, timing, and technical equipment required to deliver the content effectively.‎

‎At the end of the meeting, held at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters yesterday, the two parties stressed the importance of continuous coordination to ensure the achievement of the desired objectives of the workshop, and to contribute to developing the skills of workers in the sector and enabling them to deal with sustainable energy solutions.‎

Workshop with Mellitah Oil and Gas
It will be recalled that on 25 August the Renewable Energy Office at the Ministry of Oil and Gas organised a joint workshop with Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.

‎The workshop included general managers and technical departments on the energy transition in the oil and gas sector and highlighted keeping pace with the energy market and the international trend towards renewable energies and alternative solutions in the oil sector.

Working to raise the skills of Mellitah technicians and engineers ‎‎in the field of solar energy, energy efficiency and rationalisation of energy consumption, was also discussed at the event.‎
