Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce and the Russian Chambers ‎sign agreement

Libya’s Union of Chambers of Commerce calls on Presidency Council, the Central Bank of Libya and Audit Bureau to take steps to save Libyan economy

Mohamed Al-Raied, President of the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce, met with Vladimir Padalko, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, in Moscow last Thursday (18 July) where they signed an agreement on several aspects of economic cooperation between the two countries and to strengthen relations between them. Specifically, these were:

  • ‎Commitment to contribute to the expansion of contacts ‎‎between institutions, organizations, companies and businessmen between the two countries.‎
  • ‎Exchange all information of common interest related to the economy and foreign trade in the markets of both countries.‎
  • ‎Providing assistance for the organization of forums, conferences and meetings in the field of economy and trade.‎
  • ‎Agreement to hold regular meetings to evaluate the agreed measures, overcome obstacles hindering the development of economic cooperation, and consider current and future issues of bilateral cooperation.‎
