The Attorney General’s Office revealed last Tuesday (17 July) that the Attorney General met with his prosecutors in charge of managing procedures for the implementation of 50,000 criminal judgments within the jurisdiction of the Tripoli Court of Appeal.
The Attorney General inspected the progress of the delayed execution procedures as a result of the failure of the performance of the bodies entrusted with the obligation to implement during the past years.
He urged the enforcement agents to consolidate the concept of equality in the application of the sentences adjudicated, and to complete the measures leading to the implementation of custodial penalties, and the associated ancillary and complementary penalties before the end of this year.
