Italy’s Rosetti Marino announced Tuesday (25 June) that it has been awarded a new major offshore EPC contract in the Mediterranean Sea worth over € 400 million.
Rosetti Marino reported that the scope of work of the project, awarded by Mellitah Oil and Gas B.V. – Libyan Branch (a consortium of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Eni North Africa), in consortium with Kerry Projects Logistics (Italy) and Gruppo Antonini SpA, includes engineering, material procurement, construction and load-out (EPC) activities.
This entails the activities for the delivery of the topside of the approximately 6,000-tonne wellhead platform which will be installed off the coast of Libya.
The work scope is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027.
