The Chairman of the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL), Abdelsalam Alansari, participated in the Enabling Ecosystems Roundtable organised and hosted at its Washington D.C. headquarters by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on 18 April.

At the roundtable, a group of African Ministers of Finance shared key opportunities and initiatives by their governments in agricultural support, as well as the primary areas of need for private sector engagement.

Corporate leaders shared their experiences in various regions of the continent, as well as initiatives that they hope to deliver or expand upon in Africa.

U.S. government representatives and leaders of global financing institutions shared how they can support companies and African nations alike in delivering results for smallholder farmers.
