A forum was held in Tripoli today to launch projects funded by the European Union to support Libya’s ‘‘Energy Transition and Climate Change’’.
Several Libyan stakeholders, representatives of the Tripoli Libyan government, ministries, institutions and bodies related to energy and climate change in the country participated in the forum.
On the international side, the forum included the hosts, the European Union, the Germany embassy, GIZ and the UNDP.
The forum’s activities covered several important topics, as well as a presentation by the UNDP, including:
An overview of the energy system transformation and climate change project.
Highlighting the annual work plan and the arrangements expected to be achieved.
GIZ also gave a presentation on its initiatives in the field of transformation with the energy system and climate change.
A panel discussion was then held among the attendees.
