The Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL) is discussing with France’s Total Energies the implementation of Corinthia Hotel’s (Tripoli) car park solar energy project.

The project was revealed last Tuesday (30 January) after a meeting at REAoL’s Tripoli headquarters held between the Total Energies delegation and REAoL’s chairman, Abdul Salam Al-Ansari.

The REAoL social media statement was succinct, and gave no further details, beyond that the meeting focused on joint work and cooperation in implementing the project to supply the Corinthia Hotel Car park with solar energy and connecting it to the electricity network.
