Libyan Tractors and Agricultural Supplies Joint Stock Company hold a meeting with Italian SAER Company to discuss possible investment partnership

Minister of Industry meets the Committee for Localisation of Oil Materials and Equipment Industry

The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced Wednesday that on Tuesday, the Chairman and General Manager of the Libyan Tractors and Agricultural Supplies Joint Stock Company, held a virtual meeting with the General Manager of the Italian company SAER Elettropompe.

The meeting included the Director of the Industrial Development and Investment Department at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and a member of the company’s Board of Directors, the Director of Production Department at the company and the Director of the Company’s Commercial Department.

During the meeting, views on aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of investment partnership were discussed.

The Ministry said the meeting is considered an important step to enhance cooperation and partnership to achieve investment opportunities and exchange expertise and technical capabilities in the field of manufacturing agricultural supplies.

It reported that both parties emphasized working to build a strong and distinguished relationship to enhance industrial and agricultural capabilities to meet the needs of the Libyan market for agricultural pumps of all types and sizes, which will contribute to strengthening the national economy.
