The Libyan French Agriculture Forum was held last Tuesday (27 February) on the sidelines of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Paris, held from 24 February to 3 March.
The Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry represented Libya at the event. The exhibition, it reported, is considered one of the largest and most famous exhibitions in the field of agricultural products, livestock and food industries. It gave the General Union the opportunity to participate in it on behalf of Libya for the first time in its sixtieth session.
In the forum, in the presence of interested parties from the French and Libyan sides, the agricultural situation in Libya was presented, and the need to create a partnership between Libyan and French companies to serve the agricultural sector in Libya, develop it, and benefit from the high experience that France has in this field, was discussed.
