‘‘The Promising Mining Potentials and Opportunities in Southern Libya, Fezzan’’: Workshop

A workshop was held in Tripoli on Monday on ‘‘The Promising Mining Potentials and Opportunities in Southern Libya, Fezzan’’ (Photo: National Mining Corporation).

The National Mining Corporation and the Industrial Research Centre held a workshop at the Industrial Research Centre, Tripoli entitled ‘‘The Promising Mining Potentials and Opportunities in Southern Libya, Fezzan’’ on Monday.

The event was held in the presence of Mustafa Al-Samou, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Faraj Al-Shanduli, Director-General of the National Mining Corporation, Hussein Oraibi, Director-General of the Industrial Research Centre, Muhammad Balkhair, Director-General of the Industrial Information and Documentation Centre, and several directors of departments, divisions, and branch managers of the National Mining Corporation.

The workshop dealt with mineral resources and investment opportunities in southern Libya, geological mapping work, discovering natural resources, and conducting detailed geological and mining studies for the purpose of settling industrial projects in southern Libyan regions.
