Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced Sunday that the Austrian energy company OMV will resume exploratory drilling operations in the blocks awarded to it in February 2024.

The NOC said it discussed with representatives of the Austrian company the work it carried out this year, and the work programmes to be implemented next year, especially after the company lifted force majeure last September.
